This bug was hanging out on our patio all day long until Matt got home to make it go on its way. It just sat there, never moved, but wasn't dead. We have no idea what it is but I was curious if any of you do.

It doesn't have wings!!! How could it be a honey bee?
maybe that's why it stayed on your porch all day- not moving- it didn't have wings. I'm with mom, it looks like some kind of bee- stay away from bugs- you'd probably go into anaphylactic (sp?) shock.
